Anna Ramon, Data Scientist at Made of Genes, delivered a masterclass last November at the Johan Cruyff Institute, an academic institution specialising in the training of professionals for the sports industry, founded by the legendary FC Barcelona footballer.
The training session, aimed at students from the Colombian National Sports School (Escuela Nacional del Deporte de Colombia), focused on explaining how Made of Genes is pioneering a next-generation approach to health and performance optimisation, driven by data. This is achieved by leveraging AI and molecular insights to prevent injuries and maximise peak performance—a line of work that also forms part of the company’s projects with FC Barcelona and the Barça Innovation Hub.
